RTL Punkt 6 – 27th June 2011
You’ll notice that RTL was rather sloppy with their research, talking about TH’s first ever visit to Tokyo when it was in fact their third one and they also used footage from their previous visits in December last year and February this year but put them together and made it look as if all this happened just now. However, the female presenter tried to slightly amend the blunder after the report is shown by mentioning that it wasn’t the first visit to Tokyo. XD

CarniftyTV also posted a video of the on-stage interview with Tokio Hotel after they performed “Automatic” and “Phantomrider” for The Next Premium Night by Audi A1 on 24th June 2011.

As you saw in the “Flea Market for ToHoKu” video a few days ago, Tokio Hotel donated Georg’s bass that he used (and broke^^) during the Schrei video, to be auctioned in a Japan Relief Charity. The auction is now open to people world-wide when you go to j-grab.com.

The auction ends on 2nd July and the current bid at US $1,289.09 . Details about the item can be found HERE.

Edit: The auction has now ended and the bass sold for US $2,919.19.

RTL Exclusiv Weekend featured a short report about Tokio Hotel at the VMAJ yesterday. It implies that the guys won an award but we haven’t seen anything about this so far as apparently yesterday’s event wasn’t so much about the awards but about helping Japan. We’ll see if there’ll be more information about this.

Universal_Inter tweeted a picture of TH fans at the airport earlier today, saying that Bill and Tom had smiles on their faces and they [Universal] would be looking forward to the band’s fourth visit to Japan.

Appearance of the Day

Voice-over: Gestern hat Tokio Hotel in Tokio bei den MTV Awards abgeräumt, aber noch cooler als die Auszeichnung fand Bill Kaulitz seine Fans.
Yesterday Tokio Hotel scooped [an award] at the MTV awards but Bill Kaulitz thought his fans were even cooler than the award.

Bill: I’m excited…
Tom: It’s great.
Bill: … because they’re just screaming and the crowd is amazing. So yeah, we’re definitely totally excited tonight.
Voice-over: “Ich bin total aufgeregt. Die schreien hier alle. Eine riesen Menge. Das ist für uns alles super aufregend.”
“I’m totally excited. Everybody is screaming here. Such a huge crowd. All of this is super exciting for us.”

Voice-over: Bills Outfit passte richtig gut zu Lady GaGa, die auch mit geschlossenen Augen alles im Blick hatte.
Bill’s outfit went really well with Lady GaGa who kept an eye on everything even with her eyes closed.
