Let’s have a look at some concert pictures from a few years ago while we’re eagerly waiting for the MTV VMA Japan Special to be aired on MTV Music in a few hours (2am on Saturday and again at 10pm on Sunday).
Five years ago Tokio Hotel performed at the Open Air concert in Neumarkt (Germany). According to a review written (in German) by fan Sabrina it was a very good experience and lots of fun.
She shared a little anecdote from when she got a headache in the afternoon and was taken to one of the medical tents for a check-up which happened to be near the stage. At one point she was waiting to be given something for her headache when Tokio Hotel took to the stage for their soundcheck. She wrote that Georg started humming “There’s a ladybird sitting on my bass, there’s a ladybird sitting on my bass!”. Followed by him grumbling “I’m totally distracted by this f**cking bug. I can’t play like this!” Bill often said that he isn’t too keen on insects (and nature^^) so it’s probably not surprising that Sabrina wrote she saw him putting a bit more distance between himself and Georg while saying with a slightly worried look on his face: “Well, just get rid of it then… get rid of it!” Sabrina was then taken to another medical tent so we don’t know how the ladybird-situation was resolved but we thought it was a cute little story. (We can imagine that Gustav had to take care of it in the end. LOL)
