As promised earlier we’ve got a couple of competitions for you guys to celebrate the six year anniversary of Tokio Hotel releasing their first single “Durch den Monsun”. August is also quite an important month for us in the UK because it not only marks one of the very rare official Tokio Hotel visits to the UK in 2007 but also the first (and to this day one and only) UK music release with “Ready, Set, Go!” on 27th August 2007.
The anniversaries of those two significant single releases are not far off from each other which is why we’ll start the competitions today (DdM anniversary) with the deadline being 27th August 2011 (RSG anniversary).

COMPETITON 1 – Open to fans worldwide
Record a video of you singing “Durch den Monsun” in a bizarre, most unusual place.
RULES:
* we’re looking for quirky and funny, NOT daring and dangerous. Be safe and don’t put yourself and/or others at risk!
* no need to sing the whole song, the chorus is enough (and don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be “perfect” vocals XD)
* don’t just film yourself singing but include your surroundings, we also want to see the place!
* it doesn’t have to be a super edited video with amazing sound quality, e.g. a mobile phone recording is absolutely fine
* no recycled, old footage! It has to be recorded between today and the deadline
Prize: 1 x DdM Single, 1 x Schrei album Limited Edition with Bonus DVD, 1 x mousemat with 2005 band picture
COMPETITON 2 – Open to UK* fans only (*incl. Ireland)
Write about the following: Where is your most memorable place you have listened to “Durch den Monsun” or “Ready, Set, Go!”?
RULES:
* maximum of 500 words
* it has to be your own personal experience
* include why that place is memorable to you
Prize: 1 x DdM Single, 1 x RSG 7” Vinyl Limited UK Edition, 1 x mousemat with 2005 band picture
