IT’S THUKST’S FIFTH ANNIVERSARY!!!
Hard to believe that it’s already been five years since Claire founded the UK Street Team in the beginning of May 2007, and that our first online platform, the THUKST Myspace, was officially launched on 23rd May 2007.
It’s been a bumpy ride since then and there have certainly been some frustrating and sad times. But there have also been some wonderful times, and your passion, love and support have always given us the strength to make it through and to hold on to our dream of Tokio Hotel coming back to the UK one day… or even actually releasing their music here would be fine for a start. XD
Another year has gone by and we fondly remember the fun and happy times you, our THUKST family, and our friends and supporters worldwide have given us. So here’s a huge THANK YOU to all of you. We love you and hope we’ll always be by each other’s sides!
It wouldn’t be a proper anniversary without a little excitement though, right? We’ve got two things for all fans from the UK and Ireland –
1) some prizes to win today, in a Twitter giveaway, including a Humanoid City Live DVD/CD combo, a copy of the Japanese WWD magazine with the twins photoshoot, and a Spring Nicht DVD single plus a ‘Passion for Music’ bag
2) how would you feel about a little THUKST Meet-Up in London later this year?
We don’t have the financial means or backing for anything spectacular, but UK fans have continued to ask us about a Meet-Up and it seems the year of our 5th Anniversary would be a good time to get something organised, even if it’s only something low-key. We will open a discussion thread (including a poll to vote for a date) on our forum on JUNE 8TH, together with a slightly bigger THUKST Anniversary competition where you can win a signed “Zimmer 483” Deluxe Edition.
We know many of you are still very busy with exams so we decided on only doing the quick prize give-aways on Twitter today, and saving the bigger competition and meet up discussion for the date in June. Allow yourselves a little break from studying tonight and seize your chance of winning a prize! Viel Glück!

• There will be are three rounds, all of them between 7pm and 8pm tonight
• Each round has a different prize & you will have to retweet the tweet for each of the rounds in order to win that specific prize. You must retweet each of the 3 different tweets if you want to be in with a chance of winning each prize. Retweeting one of them will only enter you into the random draw for that one prize.
• Winners will be selected randomly from a draw of everyone who retweets what we ask
• Immediately before we tweet the competition tweet we will post a tweet letting you know we’re about to do so, so don’t worry, you’ll know exactly what we want you to retweet!

Thanks guys! We hope to see you at our next meet-up and to hang out together. Hopefully we’ll get a good discussion going once we’ve started the MU thread on the forum.
Maddie, Claire resigned from the THUKST some time ago but she’s still lurking around and hopefully she’ll also be at the meet-up.^^ We have so many good memories of the times since she founded the Street Team. <3

LOL Flo, it used to be a bit of a running joke amongst us that by the time TH will return to the UK we’ll probably be using Zimmer frames. XD Hopefully not but we’ll just have to keep trying to get them here.^^
