Hey everyone! So, as promised we have some more details for you about our UK Meet Up on Sepetember 1st.
LOCATION and TIME
Meeting time – We will all meet at 12 noon, and the Meet Up will run until 5pm. Please note these times take into account that some people need to travel to London, and the times that we oursleves need to leave London to get back home.
If anyone cannot arrive in London for 12 noon, please email us at tokiohoteluk@gmail.com and let us know. We will make arrangements for someone to come back to the meeting point and collect you.
Meeting Point and Meet Up Location – We will be meeting on the steps, at The Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens (at 12 noon) and providing weather permits, for the most part the Meet Up will take place in and around Kensington Gardens. There is an option to visit the Natural History Museum, which is close by, if the weather decides to work against us! The musuem is free to visit, and also provides a large picnic area, so it’s a good back up plan in the event of rain!

GETTING THERE
By tube – The Albert Memorial is closest to HIGH ST KENSINGTON tube station.
The station is on the CIRCLE line, between Gloucester Road and Notting Hill Gate.
And also on the DISTRICT line between Earls Court and Notting Hill Gate.
From the station you can walk to the memorial via Kensington High Street, then into Hyde Park Gate. It’s walkable, although it is a fairly long walk.
Alternatively you can catch a bus from Kensington High St. I’m told the number 9, 33, 49, 52, and 73 all go past the memorial, but you might want to double check first to be sure!

Please remember to bring food and drink with you! We’ll be having a picnic in the gardens and there are no plans to go anywhere else to eat during the MU time. You might also want to bring a blanket to sit on.
